Director
Dr. Lakeita Arrington-Judkins is an accomplished leader, educator, and advocate dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education, mental health services, and social support. As Director, Dr. Arrington-Judkins brings a wealth of experience in social work, crisis intervention, program development, and leadership in both public and nonprofit sectors.
Dr. Arrington-Judkins holds a Doctorate in Social Work from Walden University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Auburn University. Her expertise spans crisis response, mental health counseling, reentry services, student success coaching, program operations, nonprofit management, and strategic community partnerships.
With over a decade of professional experience, she has served as a Social Science Program Specialist for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, an Adjunct Social Work Instructor at Walden University and Auburn University at Montgomery, and a Senior Empowerment Advocate for Urban League of the River Valley. She has a proven track record in facilitating reentry programs, developing community-based initiatives, coordinating workforce and housing solutions, and building strong networks with government agencies, nonprofits, and educational institutions.
Dr. Arrington-Judkins is deeply committed to advancing education, promoting mental health awareness, supporting justice-involved individuals, and fostering leadership among youth and families. She has also served on multiple boards, including Girls Inc., Piedmont Hospital Auxiliary, the GA 505 Continuum of Care, and the Junior League of Columbus, demonstrating a strong passion for strategic leadership, fundraising, and advocacy.
