Building Confidence,
Teamwork, and a
Sense of Belonging.

At Second Wind Pathway, we believe that college isn’t just for a select few — it’s for anyone with the desire to grow, learn, and build a better future.
Whether you’re the first in your family to pursue higher education or simply seeking a fresh start, our College Preparation Program is designed to walk alongside you — every step of the way.

Our college prep support equips participants of all ages with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to transition successfully into a two-year, four-year, or technical college program.

We help you:

  • Explore college and career pathways
  • Prepare for entrance exams (SAT, ACT, Accuplacer)
  • Complete college and financial aid applications
  • Write personal statements and craft a college-ready résumé
  • Understand scholarship, grant, and funding opportunities
  • Build the academic and life skills necessary to thrive in college

Every participant receives one-on-one counseling to clarify their goals and create a plan that fits their interests, background, and timeline.
Whether you are pursuing a trade certification, an associate degree, or a bachelor’s degree, we’re here to help you chart your course — and cheer you on.

Through our partnerships with colleges, vocational schools, and access programs, we connect participants to admissions representatives, campus tours, and transition resources that make the dream of higher education feel tangible and achievable.

This program is ideal for individuals who:
